Locators: Storefinder - Nationl Car Parks

Storefinder is a "Where's my nearest?" search which allows users to enter a postal (or ZIP) code, address, or place name to view their nearest stores or outlets as icons on a map. It works from your company's own database of locations, is quick to implement, and is available for most countries via both XML and HTML. Searches can be refined by product type or other criteria.

  • User enters his/her postcode, town/city name, or London street name.

Regional Results

  • The nearest NCP car parks are listed in order of proximity and shown as icons on the map.
  • Details such as address, telephone number and opening times, are displayed.
  • Distance from the user's location is calculated (to nearest 0.1 mile/km).
  • User can receive point-to-point travel directions (walking or driving) to their end destination in just a few steps.

Flexibility

  • Implement clickable icons: allows users to click through to more information.
  • Combine with Travel Directions: gives users directions to locations in one click.
