The site enables consumers to search for a particular location by postcode, street name, place name or grid reference, delivering a screen-sized digital map which is accurate to within a few metres and can be navigated interactively. A key differentiator of the site is that consumers do not need to know the postcode of the location they are searching for in order to obtain an accurate result. Multimap.com also offers a free reciprocal linking service between its public web site and other web sites. Aerial photographs of all major cities in Great Britain, detailed travel directions for both web and WAP and local weather forecasts are all offered.
