26 September 2005

Multimap, Europe’s leading online mapping provider, features in The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 League for the third year in a row, as published on 25th September, 2005. According to the report, with sales growth at 44 percent year-on-year, increasing from £2.6 million in 2002 to £5.4 million in 2004, Multimap continues to rank among the UK’s fastest-growing, unquoted technology companies.

The Tech Track 100 league table, sponsored by Microsoft, is produced by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research, publishing and networking events company. Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing unquoted technology companies based on 2002-2004 sales growth.

Hamish Stevenson, founder and CEO, Fast Track, said, "Multimap's growth strategy in terms of geographic expansion and increased revenue from both the B2B and the B2C side of its business is proving very successful. For the third year running, its growth rates continue at the rate typical of a younger company, while all the foundations for a more established company remain firmly in place. We are impressed, and applaud Multimap as it continues to go from strength to strength."

Commenting on the prestigious listing, Jeff Kelisky, Multimap’s Chief Executive Officer commented, "On behalf of the whole Multimap team, in London, Australia, Turkey and, most recently, the US, I would like to say how pleased we are that our efforts and commitment have been acknowledged in this year’s Tech Track 100 league. To rank among the UK’s top 100 fastest-growing companies for the third year in a row bears testament to the drive and determination of our whole team, in addition to the value given to our services by the business community and consumers alike. Our growth strategy is going very well and we fully expect to carry on at this rate for a number of years to come.”
