Multimap.com, the UK's leading provider of internet-based maps to consumers and businesses, today announced the launch of street-level maps across 12 European countries. Visitors to the site (www.multimap.com) can now access street-level maps across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Sweden and Denmark.

Multimap.com is already the leading internet mapping provider in Europe based on the number of map pages it delivers (2 million per day); the number of unique visitors to its website (over 2.5 million per month); and the number of fee-paying European business customers (over 400).

Multimap.com's European street-level map service will be extended in the future to include travel directions, weather reports and aerial images, which will be rolled out across a number of platforms.

To use the new service, visitors to Multimap.com simply type in a place name, street name or postcode and a street-level map appears on screen within seconds. The maps can be navigated interactively by zooming in or out and panning north, south, east or west.
