Multimap, Europe's leading provider of online mapping services, has chosen Jeffrey Kelisky, who was recently promoted to the post of chief operating officer, to become its new chief executive officer. Former CEO, Sean Phelan, will become chairman of the company.

Jeff joined Multimap.com as director of operations and business development in April 2000. Since then the company has grown substantially. The number of unique visitors to the public site has increased from one-and-a-half to over four million per month, and Multimap.com now delivers online location-based services to more businesses than any other provider in Europe.

Before joining Multimap.com, Jeff led strategic and organisational restructuring engagements across Europe and the US in telecommunications, IT, banking, and retail industries for AT Kearney. Prior to this Jeff was with IBM for seven years where he led a range of sales and business development initiatives in the UK and European public and private sectors.
