Savills Case Study

Maps, provided by Multimap, are an important element of the Savills online proposition in the UK, France and Germany. Savills uses Multimap’s In-line map service to enhance information provided on each property in the UK, France and Germany. The service embeds location maps o a web site via a URL link.

Savills recently decided to enhance a number of its European sites’ location maps by adding zoom in/out functionality.

Rebecca Hurley explained, “We’d had a lot of positive feedback about the usefulness of maps on our web site so, as part of a design overhaul, we decided to a few levels of zoom. It’s been very successful; our monthly traffic reports tell us that users now interact even more with the map service."

She continued, “Multimap has undoubtedly got the highest quality and most comprehensive mapping coverage across Europe. When it came to extending our mapping to our neighbours in France and Germany, Multimap was therefore the natural partner of choice.”
