MFI Case Study

Multimap.com designed and implemented a shop locator service for MFI’s web site, www.mfi.co.uk. The service covers all of MFI's 200+ stores in Great Britain.

Users can search for and locate their nearest MFI store by town, city, postcode or London street. They also have the option to search specifically for stores that stock particular types of product*. The search delivers the ten nearest outlets with an indication of how far, in miles, each branch is from the starting point entered, along with telephone number, address and opening hours.

By clicking on an "info & map" icon, users can obtain a map which shows the exact location of that particular branch. They then have the choice of zooming in for a more detailed view or out for the wider picture, and can pan around to get their bearings.
