Join Us: Account Manager, Australia
An excellent opportunity exists for a target-driven individual with demonstrable sales talent and ambition to join one of the world's leading providers of online mapping and location-based services. Multimap is looking for a capable and motivated account manager to join our growing sales team in Sydney addressing the Australasian and AsiaPac region.
Our sales team provides a highly professional level of client interaction and communication to the growing Multimap business customer base. Operating from our Sydney office, the Australasian sales team offers mapping & location-based service solutions to companies across a wide variety of industry sectors. The company's multinational and diverse sales teams in London, Boston & Australia have a track record of exceeding targets.
We are seeking a target-driven account manager. Ideally, the candidate will be degree educated with a demonstrable record of sales achievement in the IT or internet sectors. Industry sector experience, particularly in automotive, travel, property and retail sectors, could be an advantage, although other sector experience is welcome.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape Multimap's sales strategy and contribute to Multimap's growth across industry sectors in Australasia and throughout the AsiaPac region.
Account Manager
The role requires a target-driven, dynamic and motivated self-starter able to take responsibility for existing accounts and for winning new business.
The Role Involves:
- Selling internet-based, online mapping services to SMEs and large organisations.
- Driving renewals and new business sales, with an enthusiasm for prospecting calls to potential new customers.
- Account management of new & existing accounts.
- Achieving monthly revenue, renewal, and new business targets.
- Generating new business leads.
- Managing & implementing sales-related marketing activities in the region.
Candidate Requirements:
- A track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years experience in new business sales and managing renewal business.
- A high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative & commitment.
- Strong account management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Good organisational skills.
- A high level of computer literacy.
- Other languages are desirable.
