Join Us: Web Designer/Developer

The Multimap Development team is at the heart of the provision of Multimap's enabling technologies, ensuring that the applications and services that power our public website and serve our business client base are delivered efficiently, creatively and using best-of-breed technologies. We serve more than 8 million consumer site users a month and have more than 1,000 business clients using our mapping services within their own websites.

We are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated web designer/ developer to work with our product development team.

The role involves:

• Maintaining and creating HTML pages for the Multimap website
• Adding and modifying adverts and content on the public site
• Collating and reporting on public site statistics
• Assisting the public site web development team
• Dealing with clients, ad agencies and contacts at ad sales houses on a daily basis

Candidate Requirements:

• Experienced in HTML/CSS, strong JavaScript /DOM skills
• Cross-browser HTML compatibility knowledge/experience
• A proven ability with the design and delivery of web pages is essential
• A dynamic and motivated self-starter who has a genuine passion for customer satisfaction and building professional customer and supplier relationships
• Ability to communicate complex issues or concepts in simple and effective terms
• Good communication skills, both written & verbal
• Strong organisational skills
• A high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative & commitment

Desirable:

• Experience of advertising on the internet
• Other European languages.
