Join Us: Project Manager - Full Time

The role involves:

• Management of client and internal cross-department projects.
• Project Administration - The set-up of project systems so that all participants have access to necessary information, ensuring the project is adequately staffed and moves quickly from one phase to the next. Related activities will include: weekly updates, team meetings, and presentations to a Project Review Board.
• Requirements Gathering - The collection of requirements leading to the definition of scope of the project at inception. This will involve liaison with clients and interfacing with the sales team and Product Management and technology teams in order to provide solutions to clients.
• Functional and Technical Spec Preparation- the collection of detailed technical specifications precipitated from collaborative meeting with Product Management and various technical leads leading to completion of thorough formal spec's from which our technical teams will execute the project.
• Schedule Management - A detailed project plan will need to be created and managed so that team members are not only aware of it but are working towards it. It will be the project manager's responsibility to ensure that all deliverables are achieved within budget and agreed time lines.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3-5 years' IT project management experience; Internet projects an advantage.
• Experience with recognized project management methodologies/techniques.
• Technically literate in databases, programming and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft project.
• Ability to liaise with, and manage clients necessitating good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of team management, building and leading.
• Business analysis skills to manage full project life cycle developments.
• Strong development background.

Desirable:

• Experience of GIS or digital mapping technologies.
• Multi-lingual.
• Experience of bid management and proposal writing.
• A project management certification, e.g., Prince2
