Multimap.com on Palm
Palm users can now access UK maps and Travel Directions from their Palm Pilot.
1. Internet-enable your Palm
Palm users will need to upgrade their device using the Mobile Internet Kit to connect with data-enabled
mobile phones and dial up to the Internet via an ISP. This is available from high-street retailers or
the Palm Store.
Once configured, Palm users can then download and use Web Clipping Applications that give direct
access to web pages specially configured for Palm users.
2. Install the Multimap Application
The Multimap Web Clipping Application can be downloaded here. Netscape users must right-click and
choose Save Link As.
To successfully use this application you will need:
- Palm m100, III, IIIx, IIIxe, IIIc, or V series handheld.
- Data-enabled mobile phone, click here for list of tested and supported phones, or a Palm OSŪ compatible modem
- Palm Mobile Internet Kit
- 660k memory
- An account with an Internet Service Provider that permits mobile dial-up.
Once you have configured your Palm, downloaded the Multimap Web Clipping Application you can access
