Multimap.com voted "Most Innovative Use of the Web"

Europe's leading online mapping company, Multimap.com, has won Web User magazine's prestigious "Most Innovative Use of the Web" award.

Here's what Web User had to say about Multimap:

"The phrase 'excuse me, can you direct me to...' may soon go the way of 'forsooth, wench,' because Multimap has changed the lives of anyone who has to get anywhere. While sites like www.maporama.com and www.theaa.com are great route-finders, they can't match Multimap for speed, services and cartographical brilliance." Web User added that other sites "... were never within tickling distance of Multimap, which closed the poll with 38 per cent of [readers'] votes."

Web User's readers voted in their thousands to say who they thought were the best in the world of online. Web user also had the help of a number of leading industry figures to help compile a short list of categories and nominees.
