Multimap Homes in on the Property Market with Launch of Local Property Zone at PCS 2003

Multimap.com, Europe's leading online mapping company, launches its new Property Zone today at the Property Computer Show 2003. The zone gives users of Multimap’s popular public website a new way to search for properties for sale or rent around a desired location. Multimap.com has joined forces with industry heavyweights including Foxtons, Winkworth, Townends and Hamptons to provide this service across the UK.

The service is very useful for homebuyers who want to save time in their online house hunt. They only have to type in a postcode, road or place on Multimap.com, and select the “Properties for Sale” tag: available homes in the specified area will then appear as icons on the map, with further detail in listings below the map. Specific information about each individual property is just a click away: each listing links with the website of the relevant estate agent. Multimap’s property zone has URL links to hundreds of property sites, most of which also use Multimap’s embedded location maps.
