Multimap Ranks 27th in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100
Multimap, Europe’s leading online mapping company, is the
nation’s 27th fastest growing unquoted technology company,
according to the Tech Track 100 report, published by The Sunday
Times on 28th September, 2003. The list is based on growth in sales
from 2000 to 2002, which, for Multimap, rocketed from £565,000
to £2,599,000; that’s an annual sales growth of more
than 114% year-on-year.
The Tech Track 100 league table is produced by Fast Track, the
Oxford-based research, publishing and networking events company.
The league table is sponsored by chip-designer, ARM; the UK’s
leading specialist insurer, Hiscox; and the Technology Industry
Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Hamish Stevenson, founder and CEO, Fast Track, said, “Thanks
to its immensely popular public services and robust business model,
backed by sound financing and a highly motivated, highly skilled
team, Multimap has achieved impressive sales growth.”
Jeff Kelisky, Multimap’s Chief Executive Officer said, "We
are proud to have ranked so highly in this year's Tech Track 100.
It's gratifying for the whole team that our success be recognised
by such a prestigious and respected industry authority. For the
coming year, we will continue to enhance our services to provide
our clients and prospects with industry-leading solutions, and to
ensure that our public site continues to be among the most popular
in the UK. This strategy is key to our high growth rates and core
to our continued success."
