Multimap and reed.co.uk Join Forces to Point Job Seekers in the Right Direction

Multimap.com, Europe’s leading online provider of mapping and location-based services, today announced a deal with reed.co.uk, the UK’s leading recruitment website. The deal enables users of www.reed.co.uk to find the nearest branch that specialises in the field of their choice, such as administration and secretarial work, accountancy, IT, engineering or sales, with over 20 to choose from.

Visitors to www.reed.co.uk click on the “Contact” tab at the top of the page followed by the link to the “Branch Locator”. They then select one of 23 job sectors* , and input their town or postcode. Multimap delivers a list of the nearest branches specialising in their chosen field, with each entry listed in order of proximity to the location entered. Every entry shows distance from this location, and the number of relevant jobs open in that particular branch in that sector. Entries also have full contact details, an indication if the branch is accessible by wheelchair, and links to printer-friendly maps where the exact location of the selected branch is circled. Users based in Ireland start their search at www.reed.ie from where they can click through to a list of branches, with their full contact details.

The deal further strengthens Multimap’s position as the number one provider of online mapping and location-based services for the recruitment sector, as well as across all industries in Europe.
