Multimap Features in The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 League of Fastest-Growing Technology Companies for the Second Year Running
Multimap, Europe’s number one internet mapping company, features in The Tech Track 100 for the second consecutive year, as published by The Sunday Times on 3rd October, 2004. According to the report, with sales growth at 74 percent per annum, from £1.1 million in 2001 to £3.4 million in 2003, Multimap remains among Britain’s fastest-growing, unquoted technology companies.
The Tech Track 100 league table, sponsored by Microsoft, is produced by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research, publishing and networking events company. Tech Track 100 ranks Britain's fastest-growing unquoted tech companies based on 2001-2003 sales growth.
Hamish Stevenson, founder and CEO, Fast Track, said, “This is the second year running that Multimap has featured in the Tech Track 100. Last year, when the period in focus was 2000 to 2002, the company experienced a massive growth of 114% year-on-year as it propelled itself into position as Europe’s leading online mapping provider. One would normally expect growth to level off at this stage but supported by strong sales and client services teams, an ambitious expansion plan, plus a loyal and ever-growing customer base on the B2C and the B2B sides of the business, Multimap continued to grow at impressive rates in the 2001 to 2003 period. We congratulate them on their continued success!”
Jeff Kelisky, Multimap’s Chief Executive Officer said, "We are delighted to have been included in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 for the second year running. To be recognised in this prestigious listing is a source of great pride for the whole team here at Multimap. We will remain focused on providing the highest-quality mapping services to our business clients and to users of our immensely popular public web site, and expect to keep growing the business at impressive rates as a result."
