PSINet Europe and Multimap

PSINet Europe has been Multimap.com's strategic solutions partner since January 1998. Over the past four and a half years, Multimap.com's traffic has grown from less than a million pages a month to over 65 million (September 2002).

PSINet Europe provides Multimap.com with a high-speed connectivity and co-location solution (60 machines in total), all located in a secure data centre facility owned and operated by PSINet Europe. The solution comprises a direct fibre-optic connection to the PSINet Europe backbone, which connects across the UK, to continental Europe and the US at 622Mbps. PSINet Europe manages the network on a 24/7 basis while Multimap.com manages its applications and servers.
